This site is operated by Preneurs Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia. By using it you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use the site.

What this site is

Preneurs is a community publication and a front door to a community of student founders. Everything here — essays, numbers, examples — is shared for information. It is not legal, financial, investment or tax advice, and it is not an offer of investment in any company mentioned.

Founders’ stories are their own. Naming a startup here is not an endorsement of it, and we do not verify every figure a founder tells us.

Founder's Notes

The newsletter is free. You join by confirming your email address, and you can leave from the link in any issue or by writing to us. We publish roughly weekly, but we make no promise about frequency, and we may stop publishing.

Using the Say hello form

When you contact us, you agree to:

• give us details that are accurate, and that are yours to give;
• not use the form to send unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing content, or bulk or automated messages;
• not attempt to interfere with the site, its security measures, or anyone else’s use of it.

We may decline to respond to, or delete, any submission — and block abusive senders.

Introductions to founders

Where you ask to meet a startup, we introduce people; we are not a party to whatever you agree with them afterwards, and we are not responsible for it.

Contributions

If you pitch or write a note for us, you keep the copyright in your own words. By sending it you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to edit and publish it on this site and in the newsletter, with your name on it. You confirm the work is yours and does not infringe anyone else’s rights. We are not obliged to publish anything.

Our content

The text, design, logo and photography on this site belong to Preneurs or its licensors. You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and link to anything here. You may not republish whole essays, or use our name or logo to suggest we endorse you, without written permission.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything published here.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above shows when we last did. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and the courts of Indonesia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
